Hello curb appeal! Have you ever heard the saying the outside of the home is just as important as the inside? We couldnโt agree more! This project is a perfect example. This familyโs covered front entry boasts new exterior style and the 4 season porch adds beautiful new indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy year-round.
BEFORE & AFTER
Front Porch Entry Renovation
Our clients desired a covered porch style for their front entry update. Our exterior remodeling team took the basic idea of extending the roof and added stone to the columns and cedar corbels for a pop of character and lastly, we added an arch to get that custom feel.
We re-used the existing ramp for their child with special needs and having easy access to it was a must. The clientโs wanted to keep the weather off of the child as much as possible so incorporating the ramp under the new covered space worked out seamlessly.
Lastly, we learned from the homeowners that plants didnโt grow well next to the home so we made a special area for two small trees. Where thereโs a will, thereโs a way!
4 Season Porch for Year-Round Fun
For the 4 season porch, our clients gained another living area and a beautiful deck to enjoy in the warmer months. We love the natural light in the living room, storage cabinets, and how the cedar ceiling detail in the porch ties in with the new front entry.
Talk about a gorgeous addition to enjoy throughout each season in the Midwest!ย
