About D&H Toys
D&H Toys is located in the heart of downtown Shakopee and offers an assortment of new and vintage toys and collectibles. As a new store buildout, they had the flexibility to design what they wanted for the new store layout – and partnered with Titus to make that happen.
The Build
At Titus, we believe in the power of well-designed spaces to showcase your retail products and merchandise to perfection. Custom cabinetry was the name of the game for this toy shop. Cabinetry needed to be designed with enough flexibility to accommodate changing inventory, without too much dead space. We chose a variety of sizes and wall shelving that can be lowered or raised by the store owners as inventory fluctuates.
Our build included sleek slat board walls, a stunning custom wall display hutch, and a chic check-out counter. All designed and spaced so that customers can easily navigate through the store, while also subtly directing flow toward the check-out counter.
The end result is a clean, sharp look that lets the products shine and entices customers. The neutral color pallet ensures that the products pop, but wood tones and blue accents keep the environment from feeling sterile.
