Titus Contracting is glad to announce that we recently hired some new employees. We want to introduce them and share some information about them. Each of them brings plenty of experience and knowledge to our team, and we are excited to have them on board.
Andy StichaAndy joins the team as our new project supervisor. He comes with more than 20 years of experience both in residential and commercial construction. He is a talented carpenter who has operated his own construction businesses that specialized in home remodeling projects such as bathrooms, kitchens, lower levels, additions and whole house remodeling.
Chris WalgrenChris was hired due to his national sales experience, as well as his passion for well-organized and well-designed remodeling projects. Before joining Titus, Chris owned his own construction company that specialized in high-end remodeling and new construction. His goal is to help distinguish Titus Contracting even more from our competition by listening to and implementing exactly what our clients want for their remodeling and home improvement projects. He plans to accomplish this by using creative design ideas that are more outside of the box, as well as continuing to use new technology.
Jim StruffertJim brings a great deal of knowledge to our remodeling and renovation company with 35 years of experience in the construction industry. He believes success in the construction field is brought about by great relationships between team members, clients, suppliers and subcontractors. Jim believes everyone should work together for the common goal of producing a great project that is both on time and on budget. Detail- and goal-oriented, Jim can manage multiple projects with numerous team members at once. In addition, with a background in finance and accounting, he can easily manage the financial aspect of our projects, helping to ensure they stay on budget.
We are happy to have these three excellent new team members join us, and we are excited to see what they can do for our clients!

Positive Outlook: I have been working at Titus Contracting full-time (More than a year)
Pros: Titus Contracting has been an amazing place to work! The management really cares about the team and creating a great, supportive work atmosphere and family oriented culture. The company encourages growth-both personal and professional, and will do what they can to help in those goals. Management is also very open to new ideas and new ways of doing things. They encourage people to step up and offer their suggestions to any perceived problems, and they really listen to those suggestions. The culture is positive, and the team is very cohesive and keen on working together as a team every day to make it as great of a company as it can be. The leadership also encourages the team to take an “owner’s approach” to the company, and offers competitive pay, benefits, and even profit sharing. Anyone who is willing to be responsible, and work hard with a great attitude can really thrive here!
Cons: The only con I can think of is not specific to the company, but of the construction industry. There can be occasional days in seasons where there may not be a full 40 hours worth of work for everyone. This is not often the case, but it can happen. The leadership and sales staff is extremely cognizant of this and works diligently to avoid it.
Advice to Management: Continue the great work! It’s wonderful to see the growth and positivity of our team. It’s nice that you recognize the hard work of your employees and reward them so generously with profit sharing, and team activities. Thank you for creating a great, family-style workplace!
