Medtronic Monitoring, a division of Medtronic, was looking for a commercial remodeling company in the St Paul area to help design and build their Research and Development Office in St Paul. After interviewing multiple commercial design and build contractors, Medtronic Monitoring selected Titus Contracting for the job.
After we provided a few different concepts for their office remodeling project, they selected and approved the final concept. The design phase of their remodeling project was completed in March 2015, and we began the construction phase in May 2015, after we submitted the proper work permits to the City of St Paul.
Originally, Medtronic Monitoring’s building was all office space, but they wanted to include warehouse space. We removed the offices from the back of the building to create room for their warehouse. This included removing the ceiling, carpet, and all the finishings to open up the space. We also opened up the back wall and installed a new garage door to their warehouse. To finish, we put vinyl tile and all new lighting in the warehouse, put up a wall between the warehouse and offices and painted throughout the entire building.
We completed this commercial remodeling project on schedule and on a budget for Medtronic, giving the company their much-needed remodeled office. The management at Medtronic was thrilled that we were able to complete their project as promised: on budget, and on time, so they could begin working on their own projects in their new space.
